Abstract:Does the Apple Snail actually have a purpose? With the assistance of the Nova Scotia Agricultural College Aquaculture Centre I was able to house, observe and document activity of the Apple Snail (Brown and Golden) and how they control algae. My results show that the Apple Snail can benefit the consumer.
