Biographie
My name is Nikki Sauvé and I’m a grade eleven student at Lillooet Secondary School. This is my first year in Science Fair, but I’m excited to attend Nationals. I love travelling and meeting new people. Next year I’m going to Costa Rica with my school! I like to keep busy and am in various after school activities including track, cross country, swim team, badminton, Best Buddies, running lunch time Intramurals, and Library Club. Also, I work at the downtown Library. I love reading and my main goals are to promote literacy, science, and clean water in my community! Lastly, I enjoy painting, walking my dogs, candle making, and have decorated over five hundred cupcakes this year. I wish all of my fellow participants at CWSF 2012, good luck!

Myth Busters: Is There Arsenic in Our Water?
Défi:Environnement
Catégorie:Sénior
Région:Cariboo Mainline
Ville:Lillooet, BC
École:Lillooet Secondary
Sommaire:The purpose of my project was to determine whether my town’s drinking water (as well as the surrounding area) is being poisoned by arsenic and if so, to what degree? Also, to see if drinking tainted water affected our bodies. Through research, conducting interviews, and my own independent testing I arrived at a conclusion, as well as a solution.
