Biographie
Abby feels honoured to represent Precious Blood School at the Canada Wide Science Fair. She enjoyed her previous Science Fair experience at the junior level. Abby is in grade 7 and is Minister of Culture at her school. She has a personal interest in theatre and has recently participated in a historical community project entitled “The White Hurricane” and takes leading roles in two major school productions called “Grease” and “Annie”. Abby's interest in music includes piano, flute and vocal. She enjoys art, drawing, painting and is particularly fond of reading and writing. Abby also enjoys mathematical challenges which have inspired her to develop a Science Fair question that includes investigations and results that are useful in real life. Having a younger brother was the inspiration for her title "Boys Are Gross". She plans to further enhance future Science Fair projects with a similar theme that will have useful results for her school and community. Abby has plans to attend university and is interested in the area of microbiology. For other students thinking about a science fair project, Abby's inspirational words are "Put forth your best effort and learn as much as you can".
