| My name is Abhijeet Singh and I’m currently in grade 8 at Aurora Charter School in Edmonton, Alberta. I am a hardworking student and work efficiently in order to reach my goals. Whether it’s education or sports, with hard work and dedication you can achieve anything. It’s essential for me to excel in school academically, because I want to attend university in order to pursue the ultimate goal of becoming an Optometrist. I’ve also been interested in knowing how the eye works because it’s the only part that is a window to our body and allows us to view the world. For some further research I’d like to experiment if our peripheral vision is affected by our eye colour. In order to get accurate results, it is beneficial to follow the scientific methods and use a larger sample size. Outside of academics, I love playing sports such as basketball and soccer during my leisure time. I’m friendly and always easy to get along with, and love to make people smile. During summers, I love spending time with my family at the beach where we go jet skiing or boating. It is my wish to buy my own boat one day. |

Each test subject was asked to stand before the life-sized protractor and focus at a focal point. Different objects were held at various angles and each test subject was asked to identify the colour and shape of each object. |
