Ryan - Hi there, my name is Ryan. I am a grade 10 French Immersion student in the A.T. Program at Olds High. Last year I did a 3 month exchange to France which was an amazing opportunity. I plan to travel as much as possible after high school. As a career I would like to become a veterinarian and hope to eventually own my own practice. | Rachel - My name is Rachel Land, I'm a grade 10 student attending Olds High School. I'm currently enrolled in a French Immersion program and also an academic team program. Being in French Immersion gives me opportunities such as going on a French exchange to Quebec. When I'm not doing school work, I participate in hockey at the local rink during winter and join the softball team in Olds during spring/summer. I live on an acreage with two horses I ride weekly. Horses are one of the things my partner and I have in common. We were going to do a project regarding the stress levels of horses and techniques to soothe them. In the end, we decided to study the senses to see how we can imply it to improve study methods. Both my partner and myself are interested in pursuing the career in veterinarian services. We thought in finding more efficient ways to study it would not only help us but other students as well getting into post secondary education. |
