I am 18 years old and in grade 12 at Baddeck Academy. I am the Student Council President, and an active member of other school committees, including Social Committee and the School Advisory Council. I love sports, including soccer, basketball, softball, track and volleyball. I am a lifeguard and teach swimming lessons. I teach the Swim at School and Swim to Survive programs to elementary students. I also coach elementary basketball. Annually, I organize a funraiser for the IWK children's hospital called the Relay for Kids. In grade 11 I was awarded the Lieutenant Governor's Award. This upcoming fall I will be attending Cape Breton University for a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. My long term goal is to attend medical school. |
