| As the top academic student in my grade for the past five years and a member of the 90s club since high school I am very involved in my school both academically and through extracurricular activities. I am the yearbook junior editor, co-chair of the global issues committee, vice co-chair of the youth health committee as well as being on five other committees within the school. Apart from school committees I am also on the school's basketball team as well as being a captain of a team in my district's spring basketball league. Within the community I am a board member of the Hector Heritage Foundation, a Sunday school teacher and have volunteered at the Northumberland Fisheries Museum and Hatchery. My post secondary plans are to earn a biology degree then obtain a degree in medicine specializing in research haematology. |
