Biographie
I live on a farm in Southern Ontario with my parents, my younger brother, 3 dogs and 2 cats. My hobbies are horseback riding, figure skating, basketball, soccer, baseball, painting and story writing. I enjoy public speaking and have been to the Ontario Provincial championship for the Royal Canadian Legion's public speaking competition. I play the piano and the French horn, and love to sing. I have performed at the Kiwanis Festival for several years and have sung solos with the Naneff Singers at local nursing homes. I also love to take part in musical plays and have been in two so far. I have a job as a clown, performing magic tricks and making balloon animals. Of course, I enjoy doing science fair projects every year and am very excited to be at the CWSF in Peterborough.

Sommaire:This project investigated the effect of temperature on dissolved oxygen molecules in water as part of the process of making an artificial gill for divers. Using both fresh and salt water, it was shown that cold water contained more dissolved oxygen than warm water. This implies that heat is an effective way to extract breathable oxygen from liquids in an artificial gill.
