Biography
Joseph Kim currently attends Tomken Road Middle School, Mississauga, Ontario in the SciTech Inquiry Program. He was involved in many academic and athletic activities at his school including the Animation Skills Challenge, FLL Robotic Team, and also the school's indoor soccer team. However, Joseph has a passion for inventing/building robots that can eventually help the society. He also enjoys socializing with friends and playing sports. Joseph Kim will be attending the IB Program at St. Francis Xavier Secondary School, Mississauga, Ontario. He hopes that he will pursue his passion for building robots and many other inventions that can potentially help the future.

Abstract:Human operated forklifts have caused many problems over the past years. Accidents have occurred involving injuries and even death. However, by automating the forklifts using robotic functions, the driver would avoid the hazard of death because the forklift would be operated in a safer office rather than inside the actual forklift. The automated forklift is financially and environmentally efficient.
