Biographies
Josh - My name is Josh Douglas and I am a Grade 8 studeny at John Dryden public school in Whitby, Ontario. I play Bantam A hockey for the Whitby Wildcats. I have two sports I really enjoy Hockey and Golf. I am a member at Oshawa Golf and Curling club in Oshawa, Ontario. I have won athleic, academic and attidude awards at my school. I also play for my school soccer, basketball, Volleyball and Ultimate Frisbee team. I am a member of my schools student council. My plan is to go to a Canadian University with a strong Engineering focus, leaning toward mechanical engineering.
Kevin - School Activities: soccer, volleyball, basketball, frisbee, cross country. Comunity Activities: hockey, golf. Hobbies: hockey, golf, tennis, basketball, baseball. Career plans: My career plans are being a dentist, architect, lawyer. Awards: athletic, attitude, acedemic, York Simcoe Champions, OMHA Champions.

Abstract:Experimenting of how the flex of a hockey stick affects the speed and accuracy of your shots. We are also looking at the different type of materials with similar flexes and how this will affect the speed and accuracy of the shot. Includes: materials of a hockey stick, including composite and wood sticks with similar flexes.
