Abstract:Radon gas levels vary across Canada but are especially dangerous in the Yukon! I tested 19 homes around Whitehorse to see if subdivisions with naturally high levels of radon have higher house levels than other subdivisions. In the North, people ‘tighten’ their houses to stay warm. So, I also worked with my friend, KC Mooney, to compare heat and radon in drafty and airtight homes.
