| My name I Shelan emre I am 14 years old and I go to ecole river heights in grade 8. Okays enjoy science class, reading about science and doing science experiments. I want to continue in this filed by becoming a pediatrician. This was my first ever science fair project, it was about insulation and which type is the most effective. I came up with this idea when my dad built our house and he wanted everything to be perfect, when it came time to picking an insulation he again wanted it to be perfect he through that spray foam would be that. I wanted to know if he made the right choose or the wrong choice and to prove it. If someone else was going to do this project I would advise them to make sure the types of insulation are all swelled tightly and the same. I would also say that they should try to replicate how a house/building is heated/cooled this can be done by using tyvex home wrap to keep the moisture in. I really enjoyed do this science fair project and would recommend it in a heart beat. |

I tested this by using a hot box insulation display and having a door where the air would go in I also had thermometers in each of the three boxes and was able to record there temperature from looking at the thermometers. |
