Biographies
Brooke - My name is Brooke, I attend Westside Academy and am in grade 9. I play the Baritone Saxophone in the school band. We have won three gold medals at the District Festival. I also play the the violin in the Prince George Youth Orchestra and have had some great experiences. I enjoy mountain biking and play soccer. I also love hiking and camping. When I graduate, I would like to become a nurse. My partner and I developed this project because we enjoy chemistry and working in a lab. Our plans for the further investigation of our project is to further develop our Cooperative. My advice to future students is to find a subject you enjoy and do something with it.
Aimee - My name is Aimee. I am in grade 10 at Westside Academy. I have a passion for nature and being active so I am on my school’s soccer team. I also enjoy rock climbing and hiking. Chemistry fascinates me and I wanted to look into biodiesel and the possibilities it has. In order to do a project well you need to love the project you do. Hating a project will be difficult to complete and it will be hard to get anywhere with the project.
