Abstract:This experiment compared the sensitivity to sugar on the taste buds of boys and girls between the ages of 12-15. A set of four sugar solutions with concentrations varying from .1M to .125M was used to test subjects. The lowest concentration a subject identified accurately as containing sugar was recorded.
