| Hi, my name is Johnathan. I live in Arviat , NU. I am a grade 7 student at the Qitiliq Middle School. I enjoy fishing and I'm also into gardening and geology. I came up with the idea Seasoil for my project because I enjoy gardening, but the price of soil in the north is very expensive. I want to create soils from seaweed and other organic materials found in the north to help make growing plants easier and less expensive. |

Seven different soil types were created to test which one would grow plants the best. The results showed that seaweed/goose feces/potting soil grew the best zucchini, radishes and carrots. |
