Biographie
I live in the small town of Digby, Nova Scotia but I was born in St. John's, Newfoundland. I go to Digby Regional High School. I am in many activities such as: Band, Basketball, Dance and Soccer. A few years ago NS Power started a project to build twenty wind turbines in Digby Neck, which is just outside of Digby. When they finished, I went to look at the turbine farm and I thought they were really cool. But that got me thinking, could there be a better design? This is where my inspiration for my first project. This year I continued my research from last year and it worked out great. Next year I plan to contact NS Power and tell them about my findings and do any further experiments I need to prove to them my point. For anyone who is considering doing a science fair project, I say do it because you will never know how far it will take you.
