Biographie
My name is Devarsh Shah and I am an eighth grade student at Rosedale Public School in Sarnia, Ontario. I enjoy participating in various academic activities, events, clubs, and organizations across my community. Besides academics, I also participate many extracurricular activities such as tennis, badminton, and swimming. I am also a member of the 44 Sarnia Imperial Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron. I have gotten many opportunities from the cadet program such as public speaking, debating, and volunteering. My passion for science has driven me to participate in the local science fair and I certainly encourage other students to do the same because, just being in a science fair can give you a great experience! My motivation was a simple question I came up with: If people already know about the negative effects of chemotherapy, why hasn't anyone come up with a better solution? My further plans are to use all of my data to make a conceptual mathematical model and test the solution on a mutated stem cells. My advice to other students is to put all your effort into your project without making the goal of your project about winning awards.
