Left Handedness vs. Right handedness-What a Handful!
| Division: | International | | Category: | Junior | | Region: | | | City: | , | | School: | | | Abstract: | This project studied the relationship between the participant’s skilled hand and the hand that is dominant in two-handed (e.g.batting) and weighted (e.g.lifting heavy objects) activities. A survey was used to determine if the same hand was dominant for all types of activities. Sixty percent of the (25) participants used the same hand (or both hands equally) for one-handed/two-handed/weighted activities. Perceived handedness/strongest hand was tested also. |
