| Catch the Windy Wave to $ave! Phase Two
Challenge: | Energy | Category: | Intermediate | Region: | | City: | , | School: | | Abstract: | This project examined the effectiveness of wind turbines by testing eleven independent variables to optimize revolutions per minute (rpm) and voltage produced. These findings were then applied to an innovative car wind turbine design that would power a second battery, which powers interior electronics thereby lessening the strain on electric car batteries and eliminating idling emissions. This reduces the daily emissions of greenhouse gases. |
