| Hi, my name is Savanna Enright and I am 14 years old. I attend St. Michael`s School in Douglas, Ontario. I live on a dairy farm and along with 4 other high school students and my uncle, we milk 180 Holstein cows twice a day. I am involved with many sports including hockey, volleyball, cross-country running and track and field. Throughout the year, I also belong to 4-H clubs such as the Dairy Calf Club, sports club, baking and photography clubs. My favourite school subjects are art, gym, science and history. I like to spend time outdoors, hangout with my friends, travelling and shopping. I was inspired to do my project because I wanted to do something useful that would help to keep our calves healthy. I also wanted to build a structure to become more familiar with building an item. To investigate my project further in years to come, I would like to monitor the cows that were fed using our old method as compared to using the new method. |
