Biography
I am 17 and finishing my gr.12 year in the IB certificate programme. Among my many academic accomplishments, one is that I have completed 3 Computer Programming courses at StFX University with top marks. I have a strong interest in Martial Arts; I am a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and I also study Capoeira. I engage myself in independent musical study as I have learn to play the Iranian lute, classical and Celtic violin and concert oboe. I reach out to the local community through assisting in the Community Science Center and local Manor. At my school I am an active member of the Newspaper and Social committees and the Debating team. I am also the founder of my school's Robotics club. My interests range mostly between computer science/engineering to history. Linguistically, I am fluent in Farsi, English and French, in addition to some Gaelic. I work as a researcher in the Intelligent Systems Design Lab at StFX and I have written, published and presented several papers in prestigious international conferences; hosted by societies and institutions such as IEEE and ESANS. Abstract:This project focuses on the design, development and application of a novel pattern classification software. The software is designed to allow end-users with no expertise in computer programming to utilize powerful artificial intelligence. The end-user can train multiple algorithms with historical time series data; after which they subjectively select the best algorithm and import new data for classification.
