Biography
I am a grade 11 IB student with a passion for computers and programming. I love to create little bits of code and see them run together to create something big. Outside of school, I like to ski, and am an avid player of video games. I hope to be able to create some neat things in the future to help give back to society, and make everyone's day to day life better. To any other students trying to put together a project for ISEF, CWSF, or even the school science fair, I like to say that it is so important for any project to start working on it as soon as you can, and not to leave anything for the last minute. Procrastinating may work in certain cases but it has no place in the world of science fairs.

Challenge:Health
Category:Senior
Region:Chignecto East
City:Salt Springs, NS
School:Northumberland Regional High School
Abstract:There are currently many services that allow users to track their calorie intakes and record their calorie burning activities; this is rather ineffective however, since people find it hard to get in the habit of reporting their diet. This project focuses on a way of monitoring diet that does not require manual data entry, by using a webcam, a Bluetooth scale and some custom software.
