Biography |

I was born in Timmins, Ontario which is a mining town located about 700km north of Toronto. My family moved to Sudbury when I was almost three years old and I have attended R.L. Beattie Public School since junior kindergarten. I’m currently a Grade 8 French immersion student and on the honour roll; my favourite subjects are math, science, and English. I’m looking forward to attending Grade 9 at Lo-Ellen Park Secondary School in the IB Prep Program and to later pursue a career in the sciences. Also, I have enjoyed figure skating since the age of 2½ and I am now a competitive skater and have represented Northern Ontario at both the Ontario Winter Games and Trillium StarSkate competitions. I enjoy playing the clarinet and oboe in my free time, as well as reading, cooking, skiing, and spending time outdoors. My projects have made it twice to the regional science fairs, but this is my first time attending the CWSF and I’m very excited for this opportunity. |

My results generally supported my hypothesis that the heavier a projectile was and the greater the distance it was dropped, the larger the impact crater would be. |
