| My name is Beth Springer. I have gone to the Foam Lake Elementary School, and am now going to the Foam Lake Composite School. Some Comunity activities that I take part in are, dance, 4-H, Curling, badminton, and public speaking. My hobbies are, raising chickens, and working on the farm. I enjoy working with animals such as my 4-H animals, I really like dance, I have been taking dance sinse I was 4, and I plan to keep dancing until my graduation. Some awards and achievements are, winning 4-H provincial curling, getting second in provincil public speaking, getting the tap spirit award, I've got 2nd in disricts in cross-country in grade 5, and I have got 1st place in districs cross-country in gradees 6, 7, and 8. Last year I got the oppertunity to go to Canada wide as I am this year also. I wanted to do the project that I did because after I heard that it helped us through World War 2, I wanted to bring it back. If I carried on with this project, I would need to find a way to make the gasifier more efficient so it purified the gas even more. |

Does Your Wood Have Gas?

Biochar is any organic matter burnt in the absence of oqygen. In order to use wood gas as a fossil fuel, it needs to be pure enough to run in an engine withought clogging it up. |
