---|
I enjoy participating in both school based and extra curricular activities. Yearbook, Interact Club, Decorating Club, Dancing, Public Speaking, Soccer, and Basketball are among a few of the activities I enjoy devoting my time to. I have been a French immersion student for six years and I happily practice my French while working during the summer months at the Fortress of Louisbourg. Sports and physical activity are a major part of my life. I have played on various school and community soccer, basketball, and volleyball, track and field and hockey teams over the years. I have also been an avid dancer since the age of two. I am also very involved with speech and drama and enjoy competing in local and regional competitions. During High School, I have had the opportunity to be a member of the Provincial Student Education Council, the Nova Scotia Secondary Schools Students Association Regional Cabinet, and the National SMARTS executive for promoting science and technology. For the past three years I have had the remarkable experience of going to the Canada Wide Science Fair. Science is my passion and my science fair experiences have allowed me to delve deep into various fields of science. |
