| I am a grade 11 student from Father Michael Goetz. Within my school, I am part of a club called Campus Ministry which deals with sorting donated goods for charity and preparing liturgies for the school community. For the last two years I also have had the highest average in my grade. Specifically, my overall average last year was 98.69% and it happened to be the highest average in the entire school. Two of my passions are science and mathematics as these subjects hold a special place in my heart. For the longest time, I have always aspired to pursue a career that involves these two fields. As well, every year I try to participate in the math contests and science fairs that my school has to offer. I also enjoy volunteering at the Trillium Hospital in Mississauga and have been a volunteer there since the summer of 2010. It is quite rewarding and humbling work that allows one to gain an appreciation for one’s health and life. Overall, I am often described as a person who can easily go from being serious and focused to silly and lighthearted depending on what the situation demands for. |

Additionally, the performances between genders on auditory and visual memory tests, chunking, and remembering difficult words are analyzed. Students between ages 15-18 participated in auditory and visual memory tests throughout the week. Overall, there were strong correlations between the factors that were looked into and the results. |
