| I am a grade 10 student at South Colchester Academy, in Brookfield Nova Scotia.There I have honors with distinction and am actively involved. I enjoy many extra circular activities such as track and field, cross-country and volleyball. I'm also involved in leadership organizations such as NSSSA and Global Vision. I show horses competitively on the gold circuit in the Maritimes. My inspiration for this project came from concern for my health, and that of others, due to food spoilage. I plan to further my education in Science and eventually become an Optometrist. |

E. Coli Be Gone

Disc diffusion was used to test 3 oils. Oil of oregano was found to be the most inhibitory, working equally well at 100% and 10% concentrations. The effect of conditioning sprout seeds with oil of oregano was determined in a growth trial. |
