| Ricki is a grade 10 student at Herbert School in Herbert, Saskatchewan. She is an energetic and enthusiastic student who enjoys and participates in a wide variety of activities. She enjoys several sports including volleyball, basketball, track and field, swimming, wakeboarding, snowboarding and horseback riding. She excels in her schoolwork and has been on the honour roll for the last 4 years. She is also involved in the Communoty Youth group and enjoys volunteering with the local kids club. She is also member of the Herbet Student Representive Concil, and enjoys planning school events. Ricki works part time at a local Senior Care home where she enjoys interacting and caring for senior residents. She plans on continuing her education further after she graduates. lShe has considered majoring in Scienc and/or biology as wel as English and Math. Though Ricki is indicisive when it comes to choosing a career she is an extremely focused and hard-working student. She is always willing to volunteer her time and does everything she can to be involved with her community, and show her school spirit. Overall, Ricki is very enthusiastic and loves to be involved with local events and activities! |

It started out as a study on health hazards and history of benzoates, nitrates, monoglucomates, and ascorbic acid. I proceeded to initiate an experiment proving how preservatives work, and which ones work best. It is very vital for people to know about preservatives because they are a part of our daily lives and can affect us immensely. |
