Sommaire:The effect of five variables on composting was examined: temperature, Carbon:Nitrogen ratio, particle size, stirring, and soil addition. Data from multiple samples for each condition were thoroughly analyzed. Carbon:Nitrogen ratio and temperature had the greatest impact on the rate of composting.
