| I am a Grade 8 French Emersion student. This is my first Science Fair. I am an honor role student. I skipped grade 7 and moved from Grade 6 directly to grade 8. I swim competitively. I am a member of the school Basketball team and a member of the school Mathmatics club. Ihope to pursue a career in Engineering. I was born in Canada but moved with my family to South East Asia for the next 7 years. |

Beattie P.S. | | Abstract: | The purpose of this project is to improve the efficiency of a standard fixed solar panel. This project looks at ways to reflect lost solar energy back on to the panel using a mirror. The results of the project showed that power output from a panel can be increased from 20-30 percent which is huge given the number of fixed panels in Canada. |
