My name is Kevala. I love science! Science is my favorite class in school. I have been studying exercise for several years, first the effects on the body and now on the mind. After reading SPARK I became interested in how exercise effects the brain. The brain is extremely complex and the more I learn the more I want to know! I am also interested in the ocean, there are so many unknowns and so many things to learn. I have been to the Vancouver Aquarium which I think is an amazing program. Science fair has alway been a big part in my life and I enjoy doing it. |

Is there something we can do to protect ourselves from bacteria on fountains? I discovered on average there are 60 colonies per 3cm2. To protect yourself, don't touch the bowl. Avoid fountains with low water pressure. Wash your hands after touching the handle. Avoid fountains close to trashcans, washrooms, etc. |
