| Kara - Kara Gelinas is a high school student at William Derby School in Strasbourg, Saskatchewan. I am part of the Student Leadership Council, and hope to be part of the executive next year. I work at the local gas station/deli and love it. I love quadding and being outside. I am a huge fan of hockey and skating. When I finish high school I plan to study the justice system or get a degree in agriculture. | | Karleen - I am from a small town in Saskatchewan and am in grade 11. I play school volleyball, club volleyball, curling, and take or have taken many forms of dance including jazz, ballet, lyrical, tap, musical theater and production. I work at the local gas station and deli, am an assistant dance teacher and help out on the family farm. I enjoy quading, dance and chilling with friends. |

We Got Our Tailgates Down

In our experiment, we drove four different trucks with the tailgates up recording the distance travelled and fuel used. Then we repeated the same experiment with the tailgates down. We found out that driving with your tailgate up improved your fuel efficiency by 7% compared to tailgate down. |
