Abstract:Our innovation explores a novel method of water decontamination by employing cacao husks and sapwood as adsorbent. Water pollution is devastating to millions, and those impacted most are typically inhabitants of countries producing cacao. Our aim is to alleviate this issue while also reducing the disposal problem cacao rinds, an agricultural byproduct, pose.
