Biography |

Nicholas has been an avid scientist since elementary school; competing and winning at the Canada Wide Science Fair and Sanofi Aventis BioTalent Challenge. He is an active debater, a member of the Canadian National Team and will be competing at the world championships this summer. Apart from science and debate, he is a dancer, studying ballet, lyrical, and is an understudy in the professional Ukrainian dance troupe, Pavlychenko Folklorique Ensemble. Nicholas is also a trumpet player, hockey player, football enthusiast, cross country runner, and the student leader of his high school’s Human Rights club. He is bilingual, with his first language being French, and coaches a French elementary debate club. His academic interests include science, political studies, international relations, and history. In his spare time, he enjoys good movies, baking, reading, hanging out with friends, and volunteering as a mentor to young male dancers. |
