My name is Stacy Glasberg and I like to be involved in many activities. My favourite activity is skiing, I am now a teacher's assistant at Edelweiss Ski Resort and am hoping to be come a ski instructor when I reach the age of 15! I like singing, guitar, art, drama and science! Last year I also participated in the Ottawa Regional Science Fair with my project "Energy Star House" and won a Hydro One special award, and an Honourable Mention in Earth and Environmental Sciences. With my current project "The Dark Side of Light", I was interviewed by CBC on the subject of light pollution, the interviews airing on CBC radio and television. The experiments from my current project are also being used as a national template by the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada (RASC)!. As well, I received a letter of congratulations from the Canadian Teachers’ Federation. In the future I would like to become a biomedical engineer or a forensic pathologist. :) |
