This science fair was originally a school project. My proposal was originally about plants, but my teacher rejected the idea, and said that it was too common. She said to do something that I was passionate about. I currently rank 1st in the country, domestically, for my age group, in fencing, so that was the first thing that popped into my mind. When I'm not working on school or fencing, I enjoy reading and writing, or art related hobbies (sculpting, painting, drawing, etc). After high school, which is a long ways away for me, I aspire to work in the medical field, or in psychology. For further investigation on my project, I am interested in expanding the experience and age level for this experiment. One piece of advice from me would be to do a science fair on something you really enjoy working on, it's no fun if you don't enjoy it. |
