Biographie
My name is Jenna and I am a Grade 7 student from beautiful Vancouver, B.C. I love wearing my Steph Curry's and playing basketball and volleyball with my friends. In my spare time, I get the apron and mixer out and bake till my heart's content. My personal fave are these soft and scrumptious oatmeal raisin cookies. They are to die for! I am fascinated by food sciences and this is what inspired me to select my experiment. I always wondered why people choose the foods they do and what impact colour has on their choices. I picked Smarties for my food experiment because all smarties taste exactly the same but the colours are different. I am planning to contact the SMARTIES company and share my results of the most popular and least popular Smartie colours for both males and females in the age group I tested. I can't wait to learn what they think! So when you eat your Smarties, do you eat the red ones last?

Sommaire:My experiment attempts to better understand the impact that colour has on a person's food choice. I tested 100 subjects (50 male, 50 female) for their most and least preferred Smartie candy. Since all Smarties taste the same, I believe my results provide an accurate indication of how colour impacts the food choice decisions of boys and girls aged 12-14.
