B Cell Tolerance in Novel Chimerism Strategies

Abstract:We hypothesized that we could attain tolerance in chimeric mice and that its induction was affected by host natural killer (NK cells). We found donor specific tolerance in some chimeric mice without NK cells, while those with NK cells were intolerant. Results of this work has the potential to eliminate immunosuppressant use.
