Biography
My name is Katherine Teeter, I am twelve years old and in grade seven in school where I have an average mark of 85%. I play piano in the RCM series and I am studying grade four and five piano. I have competed in several piano festivals and concerts. I play girls hockey where I centre a line and I have competed at provincials the last two years. My team has won silver and placed 13th in all of Ontario. We also have won a Silver Stick Championship. I also play softball in a co-ed league every summer. I have attended Olympia Sports Camp for softball where I won the team player award. Future studies may include veterinary medicine, medicine, or teaching. Currently, I am on the grade eight graduation planning committee. I have raised rabbits and I love my dog Blazer. I have a great interest in horses and many other animals. I love reading, piano, hockey, softball, crafts and writing.

Abstract:This project investigated maximizing the efficiency of rooftop solar panels. Four angles were tested and snow, water, ice, and dust were placed on the solar panel to determine their effects on power output. Cleaning systems were designed to remove these obstructions from solar panels. It was concluded that the most efficient pitch for a roof with solar panels in Grey County, Ontario was 43 degrees.
