Abstract:My innovation is used to protect a hockey player’s neck from whiplash and associated disorders. The prototype was tested at the University of Guelph, in a mounted car seat during a robotic simulation of whiplash. The results showed the innovation will limit movement, acceleration and deceleration to the cervical spine.
