| My name is Mckenna Arsenault and I am from Prince George, British Columbia. I am in grade seven at St. Mary’s Elementary School and I have participated in three regional science fairs. I have been dancing for the last seven years. I also play basketball for the under 13 Prince George travelling team. I have been taking acting lessons for five years and have played a lead role in the Christmas concert. I got my inspiration for my project because I was shocked about what I learned about e-cigarettes and what their purpose actually is. In order to take my project to a whole new level I would like to reach out to people and try to make e-cigarettes included in the school curriculum. For people who are starting new with the wonderful world of science I would suggest to them to speak with experienced people in the field and find something that fascinates them. |

E-Cigarettes: Do Pre-teens Need E-Ducation?

E-Cigarettes are battery-powered vaporizers that are similar to conventional cigarettes but without tobacco products. My purpose is to test the knowledge of E-Cigarettes for pre-teens from grades 6 and 7. I think it is important for pre-teens to be knowledgeable about E-Cigarettes so that they can be prepared for high school and the rest of their lives. |
