Biography
My name is Jarod Farrell and I am a grade 9 student. I have always been interested in video games and decided to use that interest to help other students learn about science. My project uses a popular video game character, Mario, to help people understand physics such as calculating acceleration due to gravity. I also wanted to examine how video game characters compare to humans in terms of physical ability. While many people may think video games are simple entertainment, it provides an interesting comparison for our own abilities and achievements.
