Abstract:“Pollution Evolution Solution” is an agent-based simulation of a river ecosystem to demonstrate the long-term effects of pollution on plants, fish, and predators over multiple generations. This project demonstrates that even after the pollution is in the water, the ecosystem is forever changed and can result in evolution and extinction, especially in predators.
