Abstract:Gravitational wave detection was modeled using corks in water. Distances between corks were measured as waves passed. Wavelength was found to be the most important factor in detecting gravitational waves. When wavelength was equal to the cork spacing, harmonics masked the stretching and squeezing of distances between measurement points.
