| My name is Alexandria Schraenkler. I am 13 years old and go to St. Michael’s Catholic School in Douglas, Ontario. I have various different hobbies, and interests such as sports, science, math and animals. I participate in all school extra-curricular sports and enjoy the experience of participating on teams such as basketball, volleyball. I also participate in sports within my community. My favourite is girls’ competitive soccer. Along with sports, I enjoy step dancing, horseback riding, swimming, kayaking and walking with my dog Penny in the bush. I love animals, and dream of becoming a vet when I grow up. My most memorable moment was when we got our dog Penny. This is helped me realize I wanted to become a vet even more. In the past two years, I have had many accomplishments, including 2nd place in the 2009 Remembrance Day poem contest and 1st place in the local 2010 Remembrance Day poster contest. 2010 was a special year for Me, I received the Best Female Athlete award for my school and our U12 Girls Soccer Team won the Championship. |
