Abstract:I investigated the rotation of wind turbines. I measured the energy produced by two different windmill designs [horizontal and vertical axis wind turbines] under differing conditions (wind direction, wind strength). My findings supported my hypothesis: vertical axis turbines are more versatile, and should be used under variable wind conditions.
