My name is Daniel O’Reilly, I am a grade 8, Principals list student at College Heights Secondary in Prince George, BC. I am looking forward to attending my second CWSF. I love music and play classical piano - grade 6 repertoire, acoustic and electric guitar, bass guitar, saxophone and the ukulele. I also play in the youth ministry music group at Church and Jazz Band at school. I enjoy volleyball, basketball, running, soccer, downhill skiing, and hold an orange belt in judo. At the Central Interior Regional Science Fair my project won a gold medal, Best in Biotechnology & Pharmaceutical Sciences, The Omineca Beetle Action Coalition Award, and the CANFOR Excellence in Forest Related Science. This project was inspired originally by my previous project findings and a story my grandfather told me. The best advice I can give to students that are thinking about doing a project is, “Just Do It" and the results could amaze you!” My career goal is to continue with sciences. |
