| My name is Emma Nicholas. I am 13 years old and live on a cattle ranch outside of Milestone, SK. I attend Milestone School (K-12). I have been a member of the Milestone Figure Skating Club for 10 years. I participate in many school extracurricular activities such as volleyball, curling, badmonton, and track. I am also on our school SLC as head of canteen. I have been the Milestone 4-H Beef Club for 7 years. When I graduate high school I plan on attending the Univerity of Saskatchewan and recieving my Bachelor of Agriculture and Animal Science and have a job somewhere within that. At my Regional Science Fair I won runner up Special Achievement award by Sask Energy. I have also won Member of the Year in our 4-H club. I have made the honour roll for the past 3 years. I got the inspiration for my project just from lliving on a farm my whole life and being around cattle. My further investigations would be to go more indepth with the horned and polled genetics. Some advice; know your project, be passionate about what you're telling the judges and be confident. |
