Nicholas Paun is a 16 year old high school student at Mount Sentinel Secondary, located in the Kootenay region of British Columbia. He is a computer programmer who enjoys automating interesting and repetitive tasks. Exploring geography is one of his main interests. Nicholas enjoys hiking in the beautiful mountains of the Kootenays, photography and travelling. In 2011, he presented at the Novell TTP Conference in Provo, Utah, where he won an award. He also developed and maintained his school's website and its Moodle system. Next on his agenda is a do-it-yourself facial recognition surveillance system. Nicholas currently has a 97% average. He plans to study Computer Science in university and work as a Computer Scientist. |
