| I am a student at Digby Regional High School. I am the youngest registered farmer in Nova Scotia. The name of my farm is Meadow’s Brothers Farm. I employ my brother, sister, Mom and Dad. The products I produce for sale are maple syrup, eggs, hay and lamb meat. The products I produce for my family are vegetables, meat chickens and pigs. I am a member of the Harmony Nicholsville 4H club. Last year, I won first place in all of my 4H events which included: vegetables, beef, rabbit, poultry, photography, first aid, cake decorating, public speaking and I was also the Junior Host for my county. Outside the farm and 4H, I am involved in school and community sports: golf, lacrosse, basketball, track & field team, and high level hockey in WVMHA. I am the youngest member of the Rustic Crafters and enjoy rug hooking. My inspiration for my science fair project comes from my love for animals and farming. I plan, in the future, to look at how music affects the number of eggs produced as well as experimenting with different varieties of music. I recommend that other students do projects about something they love as well. |

I used country and classical music for a two week period for each style of music. I began with a two-week control period with no music. I found that classical music increased the mass, length and width on average compared to the control period. |
